The only chance for my Bucs not to finish last in the division. Our 2010 5.00 ERA looks great compared to your current 7.79.

My Manager at work is a big Bucs fan. They have a lot of exciting youth coming up. Being a Cincinnati fan I understand the small market philosophy of playing the youth movement untill the big market teams come in. The Twinkies do a great job of developing their team that way.

I don't think I would trade our position players with many teams out there, although a stud 1B would be nice. It will all come down to pitching this year and trying to improve on a league worse 5.00 ERA in 2010. Our best starter went 9-15 with a 5.10 and we kept two pitchers that went a cobined 3-23. [shaking head]

Hey any time you take down Pujhols and the Cards it is good times. I agree pitching makes the difference but enjoy the offense.

I remember the killer Bees and "we are family". The Bucs will bounce back.

I think you're safe with that prediction.

My Reds did a number on them last night but it's still early doors yet.

Did you see what the Reds did to us tonight. We had a 4-0 lead on Volquez and then the doors flew wide open.

We lost 12-4.

Did I mention that we're terrible?

Great win for the Jays last night, we're now 4-1!! It was mlb.tv's game of the day so I managed to watch it for free as well :D

Chicago White Sox fan here, not only my local team but remind me of Everton in many instances. Neighbors that always think its there year to win it all, not to mention both have Baines wearing #3 ;)

Great win for us last night. We needed that after blowing it the exact same way the day before. Looking forward to watching Quentin this year.

Reds are coming out the gate strong. The best start since I think 1990. They will run into a buzzsaw today with the pitching matchup being stated. Home field advantage hasn't hurt either. The trip to Arizona and San Diego may level the playing field a bit.

Great way to start the weekend. Just woke up to find the Jays have won the first away game of the season against the Angels. We're 5-2 now.

Wow - you weren't kidding, Bill. This Astros team is a shadow of what you guys have been used to for the last decade or so.

5 -0 to us in the fifth. My condolences. Woops - there's one on a broken bat single.

5 - 1. We're not that good this year, but I see what you mean.

Well after a promising start to the season the Jays have now lost 3 in a row so we're now 5-5. Unbelievable game last night, 7-0 up after 6 innings but somehow managed to lose 8-7. Our so far impressive bull pen completely collapsing. Ho hum! It was a very good batting performance and if we continue in that form with the bat we won't go far wrong.

I think the blind squirrel found an acorn tonight. We were up 11-1 I think last I saw.

On a side note.

Was at lunch today and while I was eating, the place had the Detroit/Texas game on. Watched Josh Hamilton try to beat a foul pop out home and was tagged out while sliding head first.

Walked off holding his arm but I didn't think much of it as it didn't look bad at all. Turns out he broke it. Out for two months. Rangers can't catch a break.
