I've started using Audible, I was sceptical at first but actually someone reading you a story is great. So much so I've more or less (temporarily) stopped reading .. this sounds sad but sitting on the train, headphones on and eyes close is more relaxing than reading

Anyone else use Audio books ??

na i'm old skool when it comes to that.love the feel,smell and look of a book.if i'm putting headphones in my ears it is for listening to music while i read a paper book.

I was the same and I will probably balance it our more, it's still kind of new and I find it useful when I can't get to sleep , helps me drift off, someone reading a bedtime story

ah ya didn't think of that.handy for when herself starts snoring as well haha.ah i'm just stuck in me ways with alot of things and books are one of them.

If you're into Sci-fi I definitely recommend Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey. There's a telly show for it as well called The Expanse.

I'm not massive into Sci-fi myself but the world-building in those books I recommended is almost as good as Game of Thrones. Lots going on and they're fairly easy reads.

Just wanted to pop on to recommend Joe Abercrombie's First Law series again. The Bloody Nine is one of my current favourite characters. I think I'll give them another read.
