It‘s a pity you didn’t get to spend any time in the wealth creating private sector......
How is this relevant to what @Eggs wrote?
It‘s a pity you didn’t get to spend any time in the wealth creating private sector......
Every politician wants power, that's why they became politicians. It's a mindset that says "I can change the world" and genuinely believes it. And as we know, power is both corrupting and addictive.
Its the same for every flavor of politics. Jeremy Paxman wrote a decent book on this topic about 15 years ago called the Political Animal. Peter Oborne's Rise of the Politcal Class was good also.
His references to NHS, Police, Teachers etc, I believe Eggs also spent his career in the public domain, but I may be incorrect of course....
No-one with compassion and empathy can vote Tory, that's like turkeys asking for Christmas!
Only one party that can preserve the NHS and help alleviate poverty
Depends how you achieve power and what you park... Wont be having any Liberal telling me they are here to make peoples lives better. I know through my work day in day out, they dont give two hoots about Mental health and whole range of disabilities, because of their time in power.
The NHS does not need preserving. It needs to grow and become better. Money needs to be generated to provide funding for it and the alleviation of poverty. Corbyn and his merry men haven‘t got a clue how to do so........
It's possible to work in the private sector and be concerned about the state of public services, I believe.
Public sector put all their taxes back into governmentOf course it is. But people need to remember that it’s the private sector that generates all of the money to provide public services, governments then just spend it......

What type of crash will the Lib Dems have with the Tories?
Lib Dems want to remain, if they sided with Labour they get a 2nd referendum. It's their only real hope
No way Lib Dems would go back with the Conservatives. Last time it basically destroyed them.

Public sector put all their taxes back into government
Every pound they then spend is taxed
