Everton have sent me a letter yesterday and have tonight sent me a text asking me to renew my season ticket.

I always leave it late to renew and never got bombarded like this last year.

Think it’s clear that we’re struggling to shift the same amount of season tickets. I think Fat Sam is playing a big part in people not renewing early.

I really can't bear to watch any more of Allardyce's antics, but I don't want to give up my seat either.

I haven't long to make my decision - what should I do?

If it comes to the worst, I suppose I could buy War and Peace and read it during matches next season.

I am with you on this, I have just renewed my seats and now I am counting down the days to when he goes.

It ain’t just him who has to go though is it? Our problems are deeper than just changing the manager, our recruitment has been as disjointed as it could ever possibly be.

There is a bloated first team squad acquired over four different managers, no recognised style of play, a fractured dressing room where new recruits have arrived on apparently huge contracts and failed to convince on the pitch & a stadium to build. All against a backdrop of poor commercial off field performance in comparison to peers, a disenfranchised fan base and a communication approach about what is happening and future priorities that can be at best be described as unusual.

We are at a crossroads as to what our future looks like. It’s a huge summer for Everton and important decisions will need to be made. The manager of the first team is in many ways the face of the club, so it’s a pivotal appointment. Allardyce has so few redeeming features which coupled with his arrogance and aloofness from the reality of where we really are at says that unless he is exited as soon as possible the remaining underlying problems will similarly go unaddressed.

The club needs leadership at this time & there has been little sign so far that the current incumbents are capable of doing this effectively so far. If Moshiri is the answer, he needs to step up and bring in a senior team that is capable of restoring Everton to the position his original vision set out.

Removing Allardyce as quickly as possible and stopping him talking about any future beyond the end of this season is a start.
