In that case Vic is the only one I'd sell with the hope that we'd get someone better for the money we got for him.
He's had enough time here and he isn't going to become a top player. Rodwell on the other hand still might if he can stay injury and suspension free.

No English 21 year old with 100 or so top flight appearances and plenty of time on their contract will go for £4m. Even if you think Rodwell is crap, you must see that?

And I don't think Rodwell is average, but I see what you're getting at. He is *ahem* a Jack of all trades, master of none. But he's also 21 and he's never had a proper run in the side. As foxy's said Moyes doesn't do youth. He was impressive for England and it's no mistake he's been called up again. Everton players don't play for England unless they're good, and often even if they're very good they don't play for England because we're not based in London and oh never mind I'm ranting ffs.

would not get rid of rodwell. hes been unlucky with injury and hes still only 22. give the KID a break. if we are still having this same conversation when hes 25 its a different story.

Yeah, I mean, we'd be selling Rodwell low at the moment, but 4 million is too low.

The irony is that he's expendable because it's obvious we've been fine without him for long stretches, but you don't want to sell him until he's established because of the discount you'd be giving the other club.
