Its always still a surprise to me when these foreign clubs have a system of free travel with your match ticket, something we just havent caught on to here. I think Brighton are still the only club in England to do this, and that was agreed mainly because the council wanted the place to be a designated public transport venue so made it a hell of a lot cheaper for fans to do so!

I'm staying @ Hotel-Pension Marthahaus, which looks to be about halfway from train station to the Wankdorf, is the area around the hotel an area with pubs/bars, or is it best to head back to the old town?

have a look at du nord, wartsaal, cafe kairo, brasserie lorraine, luna llena, barbière and tramway...it's all nearby and between you and the stadium.

cant agree more about the sitting on the right hand side of the train if arriving in Geneva.
Its got to be one of the most stunning views in the world.

So which bar are you likely to be in so we can buy you one of those 20% more expensive pints before the game for all of your help?

thank you guys but i will work on this day and then pick up wife and the kids for the game.

maybe i'm at walter before the game. it's a bar outside the stadium.
