The Everton Board Thread

Hopefully DBB is next out. Isn’t she supposed to be making the decisions? A strong CEO would have told Moshiri to get back to whatever else he is doing rather than scouting and buying players. She’s another one who has either nodded along with the whole debacle as it has unfolded, or has been directly responsible for it. Either way she should go too.

Too many yes people on the board at the moment.
All nodding along to the owner. Some cold harsh facts need to be told to him.
Nil Satis Nisi Optimum needs to changed to ‘it’ll do for the time being’ !!

She shouldn't have been anywhere near the job in the first place. Zero track record of running a sporting entity or a commercial business.

An appointment that seemed to be more about virtue signalling, for which we all know Everton are the reigning world champs, rather than a belief that she could apply her 'business acumen' to the improvement of Everton's sporting or commercial performance.

This needs to be read - would suggest quite clearly that little if any due diligence was done on who this betting outfit actually are, where they're based etc etc

At the 2019 AGM, our allegedly 'best in the business' CEO told the meeting when questioned about the clubs liaison with SportPesa that "in an ideal world, we would not want to partner with betting companies."

The club now has three such betting partners !!!

Unfortunately, betting companies are ingrained in football now. If we cut them off, we lose a significant revenue stream. We have to decide what we want.

Anyway, our owner is an accountant who allegedly launders money for an oligarch, so we can't get too prescious about sponsorship with online bookies.

Too many yes people on the board, too true and there is only three people in total on the board, Billy Boy, little miss dynamite Brenda Lee Baxindale and a Mr. Ingles, that’s two yes people and I’m not sure about Mr. lngles, in fact I’d never heard of him until yesterday.

Remember Mr. Wood who used to be on the board? He was a master of doing nothing and saying even less!!
