Best case scenario is that Moshiri walks away wiping every penny of the £600m+ he has put in as equity or loaned the club.
Even if he does that the club is still in huge trouble. Income does not come close to covering expenses. Whoever buys has to bridge the huge gap which exists until 2027 (when all the first team contracts finish) and pay around £25m a year mortgage interest costs for the remainder of the stadium funding. And that is assuming Moshiri gives away the £500m he has put in which pride alone would stop him doing.
If administration hits then every player/asset/stadium/training ground/revenue stream would be sold for whatever we could get for them.
If we still have Football or HMRC debt then someone has to pay it 100p in the £. If they don't it is liquidation. Derby came close to that and needed someone to burn £50m to own them. Ours might be multiples of that.
And this ladies and gentlemen is the stark reality of the situation an incompetent, narcissistic board and an idiotic owner have gotten us into.
Make no mistake, there is no easy, pain-free escape.
Oh, and it’s closer to £850m the total Moshiri has ploughed in.
