Someone has to be able to authorize day to day functions, since every other board member is absent. I'm generally negative on all things Kenwright but IMO he is a placeholder until new members are appointed.

Doesn't Bill own a little over 1% of EFC. Maybe he is cashing in and selling his shareholding as part of the fundraising and will be stuck there until the investment is 100% complete and he is bought out. That way he sort of leaves with his head held high and was part of the sackings and left after selling his shares for the benefit of EFC. I am not saying that would be true, but it could be the PR spin
