They may be totally justified in what they are doing but Bills history always puts a big cloud of doubt over anything he does. Some people look at it suspiciously and insist we are penny pinching by trying to get better terms and others think we are right in what we are doing. It just shows the obvious mistrust the fans have with this board and who blames them?

This is correct, there is a reason why we are suspicious, previous dealings have made us like this.

If it was January 1st I might have some sympathy with that.

You are clutching at straws now!

The transfer window is defined by late deals. That's not of Everton's choosing. It's a fact. Yes ideally you'd get the players in early but for a number of reasons it seldom happens that way.

Will be interesting to see how a certain two foreign owners set about their work over the next two days. Randy Lerner was lionised by many Evertonians at the time of the Villa takeover. With them in freefall and the relegation zone will he splash the cash so obviously needed. At the other end of the scale (but not the league table), Fernandes at QPR seems as if he might be about to recklessly back the twitchy one in signing his old gang of Crouch, Krackjer etc......

Bad managers though responsible for that imo.

And Lerner sold off his baseball team or something for silly money recently. Lad has cash.

So Kenwright and Moyes trumps all.

No but it trumps Lerner and his choice of managers and corresponding league positions, of course, I am sure you'd rather we had only a relegation level team left because we spent 100mil on dross instead, personally I prefer the team we have.
Now Moyes and a decent owner, now we're talking.

If Lerner had bought Everton and provided Moyes with the sort of money O'Neill had at his disposal then I think we'd have enjoyed at least a few seasons in the Champions League by now.

You mean Learner who wont play Darren Bent during a relegation battle because he doesnt want to pay Sunderland 7mill.

Thing is though. Look at all the money previous managers have spunked up the wall. Think im with him with regards to holding back some funds.
