£650k a season? Is that legit?
Fair point should prob/could be better.
But still the headline figure is a bit misleading seeing as our kit deal is split between manufacture and distribution, wasnt it, 3 mill for 5 seasons with LCS and a bit of an improvement under Nike for manufacture - im presuming this is where they get the 650k, 3mill divided by 5 years - which actually hasnt been disclosed for the 3 years of the Nike deal. The distribution deal is 30 mill over 10 years with kitbag no?
Are the figures they state for other club the combined manufacture and distribution fees of just manufacture like they list for Everton?
Shhhh, this thread is for finding any excuse to bash the board.
Im all for it mate, im not a fan of out sourcing - there is loads to be bashing them with without being disingenuous - which im not sure they are as i dont know if the figures for other clubs in that article are sole deals for distrubution and manufacture or all in.
Surely KEIOC couldnt have overlooked that, when it took 5 secs for me to post it?
It's called an agenda![]()

I think the key point they're making is that those other clubs (some beyond Everton, but also some who we'd say are Everton's peers) make more than Everton do simply by shirt deals alone, compared to our shirt contract + all other merchandise thrown in.
They're making the point, ultimately, about outsourcing for short term convenience: front loading payments tying us into long term contracts rather than having it in-house (or at least negotiating short term outsourcing contracts). They're right...as per usual...something you should really know by now. Lol!
He knows well mate, you know the old saying there is no such thing as bad publicity! He's just looking for a foundation to spout rethoric!
This is their prime time for mushroom picking the hearts and minds of vulnerable evertonians as they get increasingly frustrated during the transfer window! Amazingly this coincides with the review of strategy/surrender from the bu endeavour (there latest attempt at rebranding) that went mammary glands up - when we signed players, beat good teams, progressed in compitition and became ace again! Tells you everything you need to know about the moral standards and ethics of that group, their just interested in kicking the club when it's down! There weren't any marches at wembley despite, a city full of evertonians, gaurenteed tv coverage and every form of national media available!
The link provided pretty much proves that - slanted smoke and mirrors to undermine the club, not the place to go if your looking for cold hard facts or reasoned analysis! But this one is particularly desperate and a non event - but then it's more about profile and preying on hearts and minds!
Interstingly they are back in their box and posting as keioc again so much for the bu! Sad in an a way because clearly the club would benifit from an intelligent, reasoned, moral and mandated advocey liaison group - to assist in bringing change!
Tbf there good for a laugh - that completes my three post trick!

Nailed how i feel about them with that statement.
I understand why som dislike KEIOC/BU and IMO they have made mistakes at times.
But, you have mentioned their agenda on a few occassions and I'm curious as to what you think it is?
They put a great deal of their own time into fighting what they believe is a fight for the future of our club for no reward.
The article does mention the figures are payments for the right to supply official kits, not how much is made from sales etc. which is another area we will be comparatively lower as Kitbag will be taking a lot of money that would have come our way if we could do it ourselves.
I think outsourcing can be a worthwhile exercise if your moving into a new area of business or you can learn specialist knowledge from the people involved. When every aspect of your business is run by other people then you have conclude the people making the decisions are inept or just not arsed.
I'm not going down this road again, it's been said before.
