This argument is pointless as too many people arent interested in opposing views. Keith harris says something that doesnt fit an agenda and its 'well he would say that wouldnt he, hes bills mate' - if u dont want to believe things thats your choice but its not all one big conspiracy of bills making. The pt i made about abramovich was before arsenal moved to the emirates as highbury stopped him buying it. As for city- yes they share a city but had a stadium and didnt need to build one. We have neither!

But all thos people who Bill negotiates with (he's always talking to two or three parties dont forget) presumably all know we have a stadium in need of repair or we need a new one, yet they're still interested in talking...and yet nothing happens.
you have your view i have mine fair enough that makes a forum, but getting away from everton for a moment how the hell can anybody even abramovich just turn up and decide he wants to buy arsenal, there shares are set up in a way that makes it very hard to take over the club, look at the mega rich Russian and the yank trying to get control for years, both large shareholders they cant buy it because of the way the shares are spread, if any come up over a certain amount the current board have agreed to not sell to anybody else that would give anybody else control, the Russian cant even get a place on the board depite having a hugh holding of shares, that will tell all you need to know about Harris and his credibility.
Again the Chelsea ground was done up in 2004 on three sides,thats the year AFTER abramovic bought the club.
City dont own a stadium and were looking at building a new one not long ago the cost to build and pay of there current lease on top ment that got shelved, and as i pointed out there capacity is nulled by the cost of rent to the council of a certain number of fans through the turnstiles before the club make a penny or a lease of £3 million a year(think they currently pay the lease),ie even if they got 40,000 and we got 30,000 we would get more going straight to the club.
