The biggest thing for me is we will go to Chelsea next week going for the win, playing good attacking football!! We may come up short against a very very good side but at least the mentality has changed. I’m convinced we will beat one top six away this season

We are going to give them their first defeat of the season , then do the same to the RS.

Inappropriate Language
Lost as much due to an awful referee performance and some wasteful finishing which will come as this team gels.

I hate going on about refs but a non existent pen at 0-0 was a disgrace and changes the gameplan / atmosphere.

Ashley Young flies into Digne = nothing.
Smalling wipes out Richarlison on a yellow, concedes a pen. No Red.

We need fair officiating and a bit of luck.
We still. Need to create chances aswell tho a [Poor language removed] united side out played us at times

We do create chances and did you expect Everton to dominate Man Utd 100%? Get real will you. We had a go at Man Utd and Arsenal and deserved more with the point being we are still a little bit short on quality but we are getting there. Another point to make and let sink in is Silva is only 11 games into the season and we look so much better.

We can go to Chelsea with hope and conviction that we will have a go but no one is saying we are nailed on to win.

Some devastating counter attacking today and we have for the first time in about three and a half seasons looked professional and good to watch.

I would really like us to meet Liverpool right now.

Careful the RAWK thread for "Warcraft playing Virgins with no understanding of football" otherwise known as the Everton thread Marco Silva greek league will be quoting you and laughing at your optimism.

First time I've been excited about an Everton side since Martinez first season.

It's a different game of football against the top 6 in this league. I think a lot of you are setting yourselves up for disappointment next week.

And that’s OK too.

To spend the week looking forward to a game with high hopes is way better than writing it off in your mind and dreading it.

But the performances at Old Trafford and Arsenal suggest we are well capable of matching strides with the “different game of football” the “top six” play.

Atrocious refereeing cost us at United and better finishing at Arsenal would have seen us take at least a point.

Exactly, until we get a quality centre forward in and a RB with pace who can defend one on one we need to play it tight against the top 6 especially away from home and get points on the board.

I'll take pelters for suggesting that but so did I for wanting Richarlison to stay up top for Brighton rather than Tosun come in to the side...

It's a results business not an entertainment business.
His tactics gift the opposition chances to score who ever the opposition is.
Sure it's good too watch and of course we will thrash the odd team by 4 or 5 goals.

But on the face of it it's kamikaze stuff, lump loads of players in attack and hope we score and hope the opposition don't counter attack. One strategy whether it's arsenal away or Rotherham at home

The problem with that is sooner or later teams figure you out
