I've been to a lot of Wales games (both RU and football) and the national anthem is belted out in both and create a really good atmosphere.

Fair enough. I've only ever seen it on TV. The footie games never seem to replicate the magnificence that the rugby crowd do.

Blow me. Didn't think complimenting someone's National Anthem could cause such offence

Nothing more uplifting than yours at rugby matches. I'm convinced it positively inspires the players to perform better.

Never seen that replicated at a football match though

I wasn't even head patting the guy. Genuinely get goosebumps when the Welsh rugby fans sing their National Anthem. Not my fault their footie lads don't do the same

It does tbf. At the football, they start to sing it with about 10mins left which will help lift players. Ive been to a few away games over the years with England and they do it, what ever your thoughts on GSTQ, its very good to hear your nations anthem being sung.

What a boring performance by England, if anyone deserved the win it was Scotland. That midfield two of Phillips and Rice was like watching Everton, scared to pass forward.
