The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Got to say I'm having more fun playing Kingdoms of Amalur than I ever did with Skyrim.

I think it's because the combat is actually really good. It's Fable-esque and I love that.

Skyrim's still the better game mind, even though I'm having more fun with this... if that makes any sense.

And yeah NIK do what Milks says. Personally I only got about that far just so I could fight dragons. Then I d*icked around for about 60 hours before I went and actually finished the main quest.

Yeah joined the other day. I got some crappy shield spell thing so far.

Atm I'm in the thieves guild and I'm a Nightingale. I wanna find The Dark Brotherhood so I can slay peeps and get paid for it. Haven't come across a single Dragon so far!!

I joined the Dark Brotherhood as i thought it would be badass. Their little cove they have is cool but things turned weird when i spoke to some of the people, their freaks ffs. Plus they give you free bondage suit armour. So if you want to kill people for money while dressed as a gimp go for it. Its quite fun.

I'm undecided whether to tow the line and join the Imperials or play the role of the underdog and side with the Stormcloaks.

Have done the tasks leading up to taking the vows, just unsure what each path will bring. Anyone joined either faction care to share some advice?

Go to Riverwood and speak to whoever helped you escape at the start of the game. They'll send you on to Whiterun and the Jarl will ask you to help them kill a dragon. Once you've done this it opens the main quest and you have to head off up to see the Greybeards and kill more dragons and stuff.

I dicked about for ages getting my levels up before I started it properly and I'm still only part way through. I just do whatever's close to where I am on the map.

****. I failed a quest in Riverwood coz I killed someone important. It was like 'talk to ....... in Riverwood'. Might have been someone called Alvor or something. In fact I killed everyone in Riverwood, except the kids but that's only coz the game doesn't let you. Hope there's not some glitch where I just can't play the game now.

You're a maniac. It doesn't usually stop you from progressing though. Try going to speak to the Jarl at Whiterun directly, see if that kickstarts it. The first step is called Bleak Falls Barrow then you go off Dragon hunting just outside Whiterun.

I've been playing it for hours and still haven't killed anyone randomly. I could treat it just like D&D Grand Theft Auto I suppose.

Yeah I'll try. I think I've done something to with Bleak Falls. I'll check it when I get in.

And HOW? I literally just walk around the towns and I can't help it. I give the guards **** all the time. I always have to bribe them to let me off.

Hahaha that is ****ing awesome. You badarse.

I haven't chose a side yet either, still with the Companions, undecided at the moment.

I spent a couple days just getting my smithing up to 100, levelled me up quick and now I can make daedric armour once I get the hearts ffs.

Had it a week now, such an awesome looking game, amazed by it.

Ah man I don't know how to do any of that. I just have my cool weapons that I find and use them. Don't know how to enchant or use soulgems or any of that!

Well armour n **** is so expensive to buy off the merchants you're better off making it yourself, and levelling up at the same time. Then you can use all your hard earned gold to pay off your bounty once you've finished raping the women and murdering their husbands (y)

Right, I've unlocked the famous stone suit of Dalrezigen.

Basically you have to have your armoured unicorn to at least level 4 defence before heading to the forbidden forest of Jordor. Deep into the woods if you listen carefully you'll hear the forest pixies whisper on the wind, leading you to a secluded cave.

Before you head in there it's a good idea to cast the spell of green honey on yourself to give you immunity from fire...you're gonna so need it! Guarding the entry to the cave are four Jimwittys, no sweat if you've got the sword of a hundred cuts so don't be a [Poor language removed] and stock it.

You'll get randomly attacked by purple elves on your quest through the cave, I often find circumnavigating them by ninety degrees then pressing up, right, L2, R2, down, down, L1, R3, up, up, up all at the same time unleashed the emperors curse on them and they die pretty quickly.

After about four wizard hours you'll come to Elvirk the ancient Dragon. You can try fighting him but it's futile. He has destroyed 1500 foes and possess all their souls, he's just too powerful. Here's the trick, remember that Mirror you got from the old man with the three heads in Bilchran? Take it out and use that, show the Dragon the reflection of himself. You'll stop him in his track as he looks like his father and this will remind him of his fallen dad. He'll cry tears of liquid methane so simply stand some distance back and take our your crossboy and fire a flaming arrow right into his mushky. Job done.

When you leave the cave you'll find yourself a level 10 assassin with unlimited power ups and your unicorn will be made of marble. All spears will simply bounce off the little f*cker.

Congratulations lad. You're looking the absolute tits in your stone suit.
