Just been in Tesco's and saw COD so I've been a really bad boy and bought it so unfortunatly I can't justify spending another 40 quid on Skyrim or Fifa :(

Gutted tbh. Although MW3 is epic to say the least.

Ffs I want it now lids. I'm still playing Oblivion like 4 years later. Can't beat the last boss for shizzle.

Wrong choice lid. You'll probably play MW3 for maybe a year, but I can tell Skyrim will be a game you can play for many many years. I've already played for 10 hours and I'm not even that far at all.

Gah I don't have a PS3 or Xbox or whatever this is out on

Last game I properly played involving 'quests' was Final Fantasy 8. Which was sick. I'm thinking I like the sound of this Elder Scrolls shiz....

Should I get it??

Final Fantasy are linear games. This has a linear central quest, but is completely open-ended. Go where you want, do what you want, when you want.

Ok...sounds a bit like real life? I assume there's monster-fighting. Anything like Shadow of the Colossus - linear but epic fights

There are plenty of random dragon encounters. With them getting very difficult. Lots of monster fighting. Or kill some bandits, or go delve inside a mountain. Up to you.

I played as a Dark Elf in Morrowind, and Imperial in Oblivion. I played as the title race in each game so I figured I would continue here so am a Nord.

I played Bill Sykes in the St Johns junior school production of "Oliver"

I had a toy dog, "Bullseye", on a string

I was eight years old
