Sounds like plenty of smug back-slapping at the Dixies tonight. Inevitable that Bill Kenwright would have us reaching for the sick bucket. Promised that all the players signed last summer will still be with us in August; took personal responsibility for Rooney's return; thanked Allardyce for getting us out of "the crap" (were we in any??)

We were in "the crap" like.

Whether we could have easily got out of it is another thing entirely but we were in the mix yeah.

It shouldn't be a "public" event anyway. Especially on seasons like this one.

Well I never thought my club couldn't get any worse than it's been this season, but giving Tom Evans that award proved me wrong, surely there was someone at the club able to tell Kenwright how inappropriate that award was, it really is a low point for our club as someone said about it leave a bitter taste in ones mouth, disgraceful.

Debatable, we were 13th and a couple of points off 9th. For me "the crap" would have been in the bottom 3, "in the mix" is a different thing entirely since the whole bottom half were involved.
