This is a very good point, Dixie was the greatest striker of all time and naming an awards ceremony after him would suggest the recipient of those awards have too achieved great things. Maybe as of next year we should call the awards The Cleverleys?

Tonight is testament to the fact that the club is dead.

Sadly I agree.

I have banged on about it for a long time but there isn't any pride at the club anymore and hasn't been for a long time. The fans aren't proud, we boo the team constantly. The players don't give a damn and the board have the next 6 weeks to show their pride by actually changing the club. Jesus we are literally a small time club with a small time management team!

Now is the time for all the sentiment to end and as I have said in the past stop living in the past glories. Change the management team to one with ambition no matter the cost. Change the damn squad, admit bad signings and move them on. Move on older players who offer nothing, just change the identity of the club because it's so stuck in the past that bill being the spokesperson sums us up completely.

The only difference between us and them, is they were successful in getting rid of their deadbeat owners, we’ve had ours at the helm for two decades.

The decisions taken in the next few weeks is all down to Moshiri and his alone not a board comprising of kenwright woods elstone Harris baxendale .
