The darts fans on here ( Speedway on Sky as well ) will be sad to hear the commentator Nigel Pearson has died.

You may not know the name, but you deffo know the voice.

Sad news that.

Comedy actor Peter Bowles died in March. I must have missed that.
Like Paul Eddington, he made it look effortless. Great British stock actors.
I especially liked him in Rumpole, my favourite programme, where despite being a top toff lawyer he was just a little bit vulnerable and required Rumpole's help to get him out of a couple of scrapes.

RIP Jimmy Nolan, local man and docker, he was the leader of the dispute from 1995 98, maybe a few local people might have come across him, sadly he passed away on Friday.
