Sad news, but 95, a good innings.

Came in here to post about this guy and was surprised to see him already mentioned. I didn't expect his passing to create any interest outside of Cornwall. There was a piece about him on the local BBC news programme last night and I was really saddened to hear of his death. me and the missus met him once about 18 months ago when we visited St Austell market where he had a fund raising stall. He was an amazing character, so full of fun and humility in equal measure, and a real twinkle in his eye for the ladies. RIP.RIP Harry, what a life

My grandad was in Normandy on DDAY, even though he was RAF But they needed boots on the ground, so it's something I always take an interest in.Came in here to post about this guy and was surprised to see him already mentioned.
