Profoundly sad about Taylor Hawkins today. Foos are my favourite band and I was buzzing to see them in July.

Spent an afternoon minding him and Dave at a festival years ago, sound, humble and great craic. We spent most of the time messing with other people, they were so unassuming no-one really realised who they were. They 'chilled' for an hour and then bounced on stage and played an amazing set.

I liked to think of him as having got past those hard times on drugs, but looks like he either never stopped, or started using again. Whatever the official cause of death is determined to be, I'll remember him as an amazing drummer from one of the favourite bands of my lifetime.

Horrible news about Taylor Hawkins. Seemed like a really top-guy. I hate the fact that immediatley reports are coming out saying "Drugs found in body of Taylor Hawkins"...who the 'F cares! Let the man and his loved ones have a little peace.
