Sad to hear of the passing of Stu Allan. I used to listen to his legendary radio show on Key 103 every Sunday night and it was essential listening if you were into rave but too young to go to clubs. I still have a box full of cassettes with loads of his mixes I recorded in the 90s.

Seen him dj live at the 051 a few times plus in the Sunrise were I had a quick chat with him and shook hands and he came across as friendly as he did on the radio. Last saw him play live at the reminisce festival a few years back were he dropped a stormer of a set. RIP to a real legend of dance music in the North West and beyond.

Can you please send me some pics into my thread please blue.

As others have said - sad news about Stu Allen. A big part of my teen years and kindled a love of dance music and hip hop that has endured. Had some large nights out when he played. RIP

Thats really sad. There was an older kid who I knew through family who would get sent KEY 103 tapes and I would copy them for my mates. The Hardcore House Hour on grainy Maxell 60's was the soundtrack to my teens. RIP Stu.
