Hopefully fake news, but as Chris says if not now it's not going to too long. Clint doesn't seem to be the type that will sit in the old folks home so once he gets to the point he cannot do the things he loves I'd imagine a quick spiral.

One of her poems that sticks with me seems fitting here.
"First Snow"
Like a child, the earth’s going to sleep,
or so the story goes.
But I’m not tired, it says.

So the snow has to fall, sleep has to come.
Because the mother’s sick to death of her life
and needs silence.
