......was in Leeds today for meetings and listened to a tribute to him on the way home. Apparently he had a major cancer operation last year and wasn't expected to survive but pulled through but did and was in remission. He was on telly a week or so ago and I thought he hadn't changed from the 80s.

Famous for Orville but apparently had a monkey in his act.

I wonder if it was the same duck all those years, or did it/him/her get replaced from time to time.

And what happens to it/him/her now?

It's International Workers Memorial Day today April28th Which is to commemorate people who have been killed in work it's mainly brought to our attention by Unions wanting better working conditions and health and safety . one of the commemorations took place at mann Island today.

Despite huge improvements on construction sites in the UK there were still 42 people killed last year. Imagine the outcry if 42 police officers or politicians were killed each year.

There was a really good documentary on a while back with Louis Theroux and Keith Harris. Sad the way he longed to be back on the box and relevant again. Orville now joins Emu in retirement.

Police have now released Orville on bail but according to his solicitor he's not on hand to comment.

Drugs are sound as long you're taking them, smuggling is bad, unless you're Han and Chewie.
