Now and again you get a death on here that just hits you, I just loved Sean Lock and by the outpouring on here today so do many others.

I was in tears more at Sean's reaction to Joe Wilkinson's poem here than the actual poem itself.

A funny, funny guy who will be sadly missed by a lot of us it would appear. RIP funny fella.

Such sad news. I'm absolutely gutted. Loved him so much on Cats does Countdown, such a great comedian.

He's been on it all the way through. Obviously it hasn't been on much recently due to covid but he was on one episode which was newly filmed earlier this year. He did look a lot thinner than usual.

Didnt the whole series start off as an idea for a short Comic Relief spot? It obviously worked, so C4 made it from there on in.

It started as couple of specials on Channel 4 for some random special events they were doing. As you say, it worked and so they commissioned a full series. Now on about series 20 or something.

Went to see Sean Lock about 4 years ago in Preston, nobody like him, his randomness and dead pan delivery was off the scale funny.
Sad about his passing, incredibly funny guy.

Absolutely gutted. Always use to watch compilations of his from QI and 8 out of 10 cats. One of the few comedians who could make me cry with laughter. Hated Thatcher aswell. When you get some time youtube him on room 101 and his TV Heaven Telly Hell show if you've never seen it.
