Yep, one of the heaviest tracks ever. I think he guested for a while in a thrash metal band called Overkill, named after the album/track.
Yes I remember that band, I didn't know that about them though. That Overkill track one of my faves by them, I had the album on cassette years ago with Another Perfect Day on the other side. Great stuff.

Another Perfect Day was a much maligned album at the time (1983?), very unfairly so IMHO, as it had the more melodic Brian Robertson (ex-Thin Lizzy) on it, having replaced Fast Eddie Clarke. Motorhead with harmonies!

It's one of my favourites that as well. I got Mine, Back at the Funny Farm spring to mind, I used to listen to that and Overkill and judge it as as one really with it being on the same tape. I'd always go back to them over the other albums including Bomber and Ace of Spades.

I liked that as well. Also, the inside sleeve had a brilliant comic strip of the band.

Nothing gets close to Ace of Spades though. The album. Have it on limited edition gold vinyl somewhere.
