The Dead Thread

Sad sad news about Keith Flint. Just found out 5 minutes after saying they were my favourite ever performance in the Glastonbury thread.which a bit spooky. Can't imagine we'll ever see the likes of him again. RIP

I've been a huge Prodigy fan since I first heard 'Charly' back in 1991 so totally devastated at hearing Keith has passed away.

Whilst Liam has always been the brains behind the band, Keith has been a brilliant frontman for them and sadly I just can't see how they can continue without him.

Keith doing lyrics for the first time on 'Firestarter' is what turned the band from a big band to a huge band. It shouldn't be underestimated how big they were in the mid to late 90s.

I've seen them live loads of times (2005 at Manchester Arena was my favourite) and so glad I went to see them at the Echo Arena last November in what could well be one of their last ever UK live performances.

RIP Firestarter.

Was that in 92 on the Experience tour or 94 on the Jilted Generation tour? I was at both and brilliant gigs.
I'm not totally sure. I saw them in Summer of 92 at an Amnesia all nighter when they shot the video for Outer Space. Experience wasn't released until September 92 and I thought it was before that, but there's no reference to it through The Prodigy's archive or the Royal Court's, though neither are complete. I would guess it was in 1991 but I couldn't be 100% sure and there's no evidence of that.
