...38 years ago is frightening, I remember that day being in Huyton Leisure Centre having a pint with a few pals after footy.

I went to NY a few years ago and visited the spot. So sad, so senseless, such a waste.

I was on a break at work when I heard the news. Just remember having this weird surreal feeling, very odd. The time has just marched by, and it's hard to think he'd be almost 80 now. Such a sad loss.

The woman who created and sold what many recognise as the world's first word processor has died aged 93.
Evelyn Berezin called the device the Data Secretary when, in 1971, her company Redactron launched the product.
She grew Redactron from nine employees to close to 500 and was named one of the US's top leaders by BusinessWeek magazine in the year she sold it, 1976.
She had earlier built one of the original computerised airline reservation systems.

Who's your money on?

Going back to my list I created in March, one less to choose from though...

If we are playing all star death bingo then Clint Eastwood, Burt Reynolds, Sean Connery and Olivia de Havilland have to be high on the list.

Michael Caine looks good for his age so will give him another 5 years.

Suppose Billy Connolly must be moving up the list with his health issues and there are a plethora of 70s/80's rock/pop stars that have taken more drugs than the GlaxoSmithKline tablet sorter conveyor belt heading into later life where you get problems anyhow.
