Played in one of only two of our sides to ever win at Wembley. Led NI to the 58 world cup. Way way before my time but I've heard a few older folk claiming he was as good as Best. No higher praise than that!

Just heard that guitarist Ed King died in Nashville. He cowrote "Sweet Home Alabama" and was a fixture in Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was 68.
Left the band before they were killed in an aircrash, so got an extra 41 years.
That's a fact. Wish all had done so.
Agreed. Some wonderful tunes.
This is him in recent times on lead guitar playing said classic, if he only ever help write one tune, this would be one to immortalise yourself
