If you were hosting a dinner party and everyone talked to each other the way that they post on here, you would tell Davek to leave because he was being a jerk. The problem is not that he's wrong. It's that he's a rude, boorish know-it-all who never shuts up.

I'm guessing that this was not mods, it was management (I think there's a difference?). And I think he left them no choice. His antics had become this forum's defining characteristic, and if they didn't get rid of him then they may as well have renamed it "Davek's Playground".
