Is there anything more ridiculous in politics than a cabinet minister telling the PM to go but not resigning themselves

TBF that was the old politics - Johnson isn't going to follow those rules, so cabinet ministers shouldn't and should remain in post to prevent him wrecking the country as he is removed.

Whilst a snap General Election would probably be the best thing for the country right now, I think we should pause for a moment and spare a thought for Brenda from Bristol. Just think what that would do to her.
