All very predictable.

We knew that Johnson and the culture he created is a shambles. We knew he is completely unsuitable for his office. He tarnishes everything he touches. He is surrounded by others unsuitable for their positions who rely on loyalty to Johnson for their career.

Sue Gray didn't need to tell anyone any of that.

What is does show is the scale of hypocrisy about effort they were applying to the pandemic and the seriousness they gave it.

It was essential for them to 'say goodbye to valuable colleagues' but not for others to say goodbye to loved ones.

This in a nutshell.

If you vote Tory you're now spitting in the face of the COVID dead and their families.

BoJo refuses to comment on whether individuals he gets asked about should be sacked or step down.

Instead, says he takes responsibility for it. How? How has he taken responsibility? Saying you have taken responsibility but not actually doing anything isn't taking responsibility. Yet noone called him out on it.

If he was honest, I'm sorry I know lol by taking responsibility, he would resign, the fat pig ?wont, he has no honour, integrity of honesty and tbh neither has anyone who voted for him in my opinion.

….regardless of your political persuasion, it’s a sad day for our political system when voters think it’s ok for a British Prime Minister to lie to Parliament and the British public.

The values we hold dear have gone. We have set a new bar and it’s very low.
Voters seem think he should go. It's only the Tory MPs, too heavily invested, hoping something else comes along to distract them.

But it's just a downward spiral now. Like those backing Benitez..

….I’m not so sure he’ll be ousted, it’s very unlikely that we will get a vote of no confidence and even if we do it won’t be carried.

i think it’ll only be the public that get rid of him at the ballot box unless the polls look so bad, Tory MPs fear for their seats. Let’s not forget, the report into the withdrawal from Afghanistan was extremely critical of the then Secretary of State who now finds himself as Deputy PM, so the lot of them are rotten.

No values, just power.

We were restricted to ten at my mother's funeral (in Dublin) after her 94 years of hard work and raising a family.

So many had to watch online. Anyone can make mistakes but these repeated breaches of their own rules are arrogance personified - remember the greedy NY hotelier Leona Helmsley, the Queen of Mean - who said taxes are for the little people - she was eventually jailed.

Well this to me is even worse as he is PM. Covid restrictions only for the little people.

He may not survive this evening's Party meeting.....

It's a slow death now. People won't forget. And there will undoubtedly be more that comes to light. More photos, more disgruntled staffers.

His entire premiership is lurching from one disaster to another. Northern Ireland is next to be "sorted out" despite it being a problem entirely of his own creation.

Cost of living will bite hard...especially when the message of "we're all in it together" has been lost through Partygate - it's not credible anymore.

And it's difficult to say anything earnestly to people struggling, when it's delivered by a jester.

Sadly I think he will. He will make any and every promise necessary to maintain his position and hope that something else comes along to draw attention away.
