I just find it very interesting that we can volte-face on people based on how it best shows the government in a bad light.
All in a thread called Scummy Tories, it's astonishing phenomena. Why not start a thread and call it 'Wondrous Tory's' or 'Johnson Gender Free Belles'.

That’s not actually the point is it? It’s more the case that ‘the underclasses’ are the enemy when then they need to be for certain posters on here.

If you subscribe that being labeled as underclass and all that comes with it is entirely down to choice, then yes, start Tory is great thread.

It’s really noticeable how much they’ve gone after Ellwood today:

Contrast this with their antics over Cummings, Johnson himself, Patel herself and several others who were caught in far more flagrant breaches than this (which I am not sure even was a breach tbh, or at least wasn’t a breach that most workplaces haven’t been doing themselves).

It’s almost as if him having actual experience of things is a threat to them.

You think it's good to see kids requiring UNICEF to feed them in the "6th richest country in the world"?

Certainly not. Why UNICEF had to throw an insulting £25,000 into the £100-£200,000,000 that the U.K. spends on benefits each year, yet be described as feeding the kids of the U.K. is beyond me. I think I’ll send a cheque for £10 each to China, USA, Russia, EU and claim that I am feeding their children for them, or maybe just send £100 to the UN and claim that I’m feeding all of the worlds children.......

It wasn't just thrown into the pot though, so what you're saying is rather specious. It was targeted at a specific project to help feed kids.

Send them your ale. Your only pouring it down the grid.

That will buy you significant goodwill for the future.

Perhaps, but I was determined it wouldn’t go down the drain, I did that with the first lockdown and swore that I wouldn’t do it twice. I had one old guy in his 80’s who would put out an empty plastic milk bottle every night at his front door and which I would then fill for him. I had to buy him a few bottles when the barrels all run out .....

Did he wonder why his milk had turned to beer?
