If I was that guy in the TSB shirt I would be sent off after an elbow smash into the failed milk monitor's face. lol

You’re never going to get a better chance to cripple him than in a sporting contest as well. Can always just say you had your eye on the ball as your fling your elbow or that your leg slipped as you go in two footed.

At least if he cops an injury he can get more acquainted with the NHS he’s helping to run...

Priti goes full on moo phoria with half baked attack on Ben and Jerry's...

I mean, she didn’t personally. The article is pretty clear it’s a Home Office source.

It’s also fairly accurate - it is an overpriced junk food. I haven’t bought it for years after it was very vocal about supporting the Occupy movement, despite being a Unilever brand. Probably had one or two tubs a week prior to that.

It’s an ice cream ffs, not a catalyst for social reform.

Its about the measure of who the home office and Patel square up to...

And if you don't mind, its Wednesday and as the Tory Government have promotion at the moment, I'm off to have my fill with Maccy Breaky muffin, maybe lunch supper and all. Food glorious food junk food and all...

Well, no let’s be clear here, the way you presented it (and the BBC to be fair) was that Patel had gone out after Ben & Jerry’s. The truth is she hadn’t. An MP had tweeted a response, not sure why that’s groundbreaking or why we don’t have posts for any time that an MP from any party retweets whatever tinfoil hat moron on Twitter, but hey!

Are you also suggesting that because the whole ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme exists for the hospitality industry, it means an ice cream manufacturer which does the majority of its trade within retail outlets should be able to dictate policy now?

Reckon if you actually stepped out of the default Tory apologists role you agonise me with you would have noted that brand Ben and Jerry's are very qualified to communicate and comment on immigration refugees and asylum seekers.

They spend a fair amount energy and monies on it, and have done for some years, they used to call philanthropy it was a Conservative thing once upon a time.

Of course there could be accusations of corporate marketing after a tricky court case however, they since been keen to put wrongs right!

Your representation is indicative of Conservatism up and down the country currently, out of touch with no clue what is going on or who is doing what!

Ahh right, start pointing out the fallacies that you’re posting and suddenly it’s ‘conservative apologism’ rather than actually trying to debate things based on reality.

It’s an ice cream brand. Not an NGO, Lawyer, etc. It’s part of a multinational conglomerate. Sorry if I don’t take it as a barometer of UK views on immigration.
