Haha, they're just like someone who goes to a weekend painting classes, and at the end of the course presents a work to the family, and retrospectively changes their intent and the subject to make it appear better than it is, rather than admit to spaffing money against the wall and they're not particularly good at this painting lark afterall.

I'm inclined to think it's more like Stockholm Syndrome. They've possessed Joe's brain and he's fallen in love with people who couldn't give two hoots about him. It's very sad to see, and no man deserves such humiliation.

For god sake I try to keep off these threads - I am no Tory, but I can't vote for anyone if anyone should be humiliated it's you Bruce ......
Fetch on a GE to break the deadlock either way .......

If it's people vs Parliamentarians, what good is an election?

And Joe wants an election he 'says' he won't vote in (although given he also said he wouldn't say who he'd vote for, I suspect he's one of those shy Tories of legend)

The longer this has gone on, the more it seems that parliament and all of the other aspects of the sovereignty they apparently hold dear, are only valued so long as they're doing what 'they' want. The moment they don't, they throw their hats behind any tin pot dictator who will deliver what 'they' want. It's shameful behaviour, not least from a generation who take great pride in telling us how 'they' fought off dictators in the past.

It's increasingly incomprehensible just how @Joey66 et al continue to back the man. I'm not even sure they know any more why they're backing him, or why they want to leave the EU to give even more power to an individual who would quite happily push the country into a dictatorship. It's not too late to step back from the abyss Joe. We know this doesn't represent you.

This. I just cant understand how anyone can look at the likes of Johnson and Farage and think "yeah, men of the people"

It may kick out there blocking Mps who are ignoring democracy......

Joe in 2017 a majority of people voted for parties that said no to No Deal.

The vast majority of MPs woud support a good deal. The challenge is to find one.

They voted OUT hoping for a deal let's be honest Labour have rejected most deals - what I don't want to see on a ballot paper is Remain v a Labour crap deal which they are advocating its unbelievably puerile stance..... and the UK public will see it that way too in a GE which they are avoiding......

And the ERG. I posted before if they had all voted with the government they would have gotten the deal through. So blame the Tories as much as you do Labour.

Everytime these lot govern the country there's a stench of absolute corruption left. Give the entitled the freedom to do anything and they will take everything no matter what. Johnson is now appealing to the simpletons because he realizes the country's swamped with them. If you think Farage and Johnston are anti-establishment you are thick, no arguments.
