Is it Laura Kuenssberg? because she seems like a sycophant with Johnson and this government

Sadly it does seem to distract somewhat from what must surely be the bigger picture. Half of trusts operate at a deficit, with acute hospitals making up some 90% of that figure, with total deficits across the NHS set to be over £500 million. Something is clearly not right somewhere and the mumbling buffoon in that video doesn't have the first clue about it bar from some pre-prepared soundbites he can roll out.

But what about the £1.8b promised to hospitals? :coffee:

Might as well bring a ventriloquist's dummy - oh, wait :

Sadly (for the BBC's reputation if nothing else) that one has history for favouring one side over the other - notoriously so, in fact:

The BBC’s political editor inaccurately reported Jeremy Corbyn’s views about shoot-to-kill policies in the aftermath of the terror attacks in Paris, according to the BBC Trust.

The broadcaster’s regulator concluded that a Laura Kuenssberg report for the News at Six in November 2015 breached the broadcaster’s impartiality and accuracy guidelines, in a ruling that triggered an angry response from the corporation’s director of news.

The News at Six item included a clip of the Labour leader stating: “I am not happy with a shoot-to-kill policy in general. I think that is quite dangerous and I think can often be counterproductive.”

Kuenssberg had presented that as Corbyn’s response to a question put to him on whether he would be “happy for British officers to pull the trigger in the event of a Paris-style attack”, but the Trust concluded that Corbyn had been speaking in a different context.

The Labour leader had been responding to a question asking whether he would be happy to order police or military “to shoot to kill” on Britain’s streets – and not specifically regarding a Paris-style attack in the UK.

In response to an earlier question specifically about the use of the security services in the event of a terrorist attack in London, which was not used in the programme, Corbyn had replied: “Of course you’d bring people on to the streets to prevent and ensure there is safety within our society, much better that’s done by the police than security services, much better we have strong and effective community policing, neighbourhood policing and a cohesive society that brings people together.”

Not sure that makes any difference. Presumably he had a valid reason to be in the hospital.

I expect so and mentioned his seven day old son. But to have a go at Boris, PM for however many weeks, and without saying it, the staff who were stood around him suggests more of a political rant than one of a parent. To then find out that surprise surprise, he is a political activist just undermines whatever he has said. Boris said he was there to see how he could help, so let’s just attack whatever May and Cameron and Brown and Blair have done to the NHS.....

He's been a cabinet Minister and served in Government for years, he's an incredibly high profile outspoken political figure who has used the NHS as a means to further his own political ambition through lies and opportunism.

He's also, despite warnings, currently guiding the UK to a No Deal Brexit which will, according to the Governments own assessments, hit the most vulnerable hardest and have a detrimental effect on the NHS. I'd say he is fair game for a few choice words.

I agree. By a normal parent of a patient. Not some socialist and remainer activist who has no axe to grind at all.....

Cameron is on now telling lies about his referendum behaviour, as if it wasn't all about his own party and denying he was complacent about winning. An oily character indeed.
