Do you think Corbyn had anything to do with Labour's defeat?
Actually @peteblue I used corbyn as im sure ive read you saying that it was him, personally, that people had issue with.

A better example of voters being motivated by a leader is Trump. His followers have bought into him, his rhetoric and personality.

So I think it is fair to say that this variable should most certainly be taken into account. The torys had no moral right to thrust Truss upon us. Same for Sunak or anyone else.

It’s actually disgusting when you think of it…. The whole country is crying out for an election…. And has been for a long time… yet the Tories can just say no as they know they are toast. Democracy at its finest.

And they plod on with no political intent other than to cram in another budget to further cripple the incoming government in terms of it’s ability to spend.

There’s no legislative agenda they’re trying to push through. No positive changes they want to make. It’s purely a long term strategy to tie the hands of Labour, at the expense of the electorate.

The fact that a government can wilfully hurt the country for its own political gain in this way makes my blood boil.

You are right, it does play into the GE mix, but once the party is voted in if they wish to change the leader that is a matter for them. Whether we should then have yet another GE I’m not really sure……

It is fundamental in my opinion. Power is given by we the voting public. Would anyone have voted for Truss, or even Sunak? I doubt it and that should not be ignored. It's akin to saying if Laboyr win the next GE, which they most likely will, that they can choose to make Diane Abbott PM.

Gotta be Penny eh? She comes across as a bit dim to me frankly but that's never stopped Tory leaders in the past and there's the big sword thing too so bring it on.

The "cock" lady with the big sword is who they're pinning their hopes on?

Torylols.
Would be surprised if this happened as wouldn’t make any sense for her as they’ll take a beating anyways and she’d look weak. Be better off for her not being a prominent member of this shitshow and coming out the woodwork after the election.
Expect Bravermann to do the same 🤮
