Stop the boats. Stop the benefits. Stop the NI contributions.

Is there anything this government actually wants to do? As opposed to things they want to stop doing. Any type of positive change?

It’s easy to point at problems (all of which are of their own making, having been in power for 14 years), but it’s harder to come up with positive ideas and initiatives.

They have genuinely run out of ideas and solutions, and can only fall back on pointing the finger of blame at certain people in society, whether it be immigrants, people on benefits etc.

The total benefit bill is about £265 billion, with just over half of that spent on PENSIONS. The removal of NI is the fiscal event Hunt was talking about thus cut benefits . I expect it will be a fiscal event as I doubt the money markets will like it. It sounds almost as insane as Truss's aborted tax cuts.
