Sadly we’re gonna transition to a period we’re labour will be so centre they’ll become part of the furniture with the right.

That’s the issue with Starmer. I backed him heavily over the previous few years but the sad reality is he’s a centrist that would love to pick up this scum as his own.

We’ll get rid of them in the election, things may get slightly better but it won’t be the win we think it will be.

Everyone knows now Tory isn’t right, problem is, New Labour has become somewhat right.

The only objective now though surely is to get rid of these tories, get Labour in and then let the right split info pieces when out of office. Then hopefully Labour can start showing its socialist colours. That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

Very Englishcentric view that. Devolved powers for me in Wales have been a key difference. Have to work with across the border (Shropshire). 14 years of Tories have decimated their services. When we think its bad we count ourselves lucky.

Perhaps. That's probably not entirely unfair.

But the point still stands. A lot of us hoped Blair would pivot left in power, especially when he picked Prescott as his deputy, and if you're expecting Starmer and Reevess (lol) to pivot left one they take power I think you'll be left quite disappointed.

Will be incremental like it has been in Wales. There will be no radical move to the left over night never will be in the UK, as most people even those pontificate on the far left side of this political fence post just wont accept the hit in living standards it would initially cause. And nor should they as we all live in the now.

Myself happy to take a hit on the equity of my home for a massive house build for my kids and yours so to speak.

But don't ask me to pay any more green levies for people who can already afford an electric car just so its a little cheaper for them, taking the urine. Rather see what they have done in France its the lower end of wage scale that get subsidized electric cars.
