It reminds me of an interview of a tech-bro billionaire asking a consultant how to staff his bunker. The consultant suggests looking after the workers' families too as a buy-in (neo-feudalism), but tech-bro isn't interested and wants robots and shock-collars for the staff he needs to man his bunker (full on slavery). How far do some people think they can dehumanise society, and why are they so shocked when there's push back?
