We run our own country, we don’t take rules laid down from Brussels, we don’t have Hungary vetoing our foreign policy, our economy is doing better than Germany, we are developing our own trading relationships like CPTPP, we are re-establishing our links with countries like Australia, Canada and New Zealand, we are working with the likes of Japan on new technology and defence. Now apart from going on holiday in Europe what are the advantages of being in the EU….in your own time……
@peteblue do you accept all foreign policy is a product of negotiation and compromise? The UK couldnt or wouldnt go off and so soemthing radical without checking it with their allies.
Trade deals with Australia etc - estimates on the impact on our economy vary between 0.02% and 0.08% (governments own best case figures for next 15 years. Is that really worth shouting about?
Last can you please point to anything tangible that has improved for you since Brexit? Something that has benefited you in a noticeable way?
He is not a well man.
I really can't ever understand how any "common man" can relate to this guy if its not some sort of differential "his lordship" view of how uk society should be ran.
