The first time never voted -why I can't vote for a left wing marxist run by momentum.......

Joey what he was proposing was Labour policy for almost all its existence, including large parts of Blair’s programme, so presumably something similar to what you have voted for in the past (and given how old you say you are and that you’ve always voted before 2017, you must have voted for a far more left wing manifesto in 1983).

When people say 'I can't vote for a Marxist run by Momentum' what they really mean is I can't be bothered to think for myself so I just repeat everything I read in the media.

On the other hand, you've got a party that has led the country into the abyss with Brexit, savaged people through austerity and is funded by some of the worst tax dodgers around. Somehow this is the 'safe' option.

Voted for Milaband yes.....

The sad thing is that if it wasn't for Corbyn we would probably still have both Labour and Tory pursuing austerity. At the very least he's changed the debate in a way that is putting real people in the spotlight.

If we didn’t have Corbyn, we would still be staying in the EU. This is the one thing I will give him........

I’m not blaming him, I’m giving him credit......

On a list of people responsible for Brexit Corbyn is pretty low down on that list.

It is funny though, that so many of the PLP who claim Corbyn is absolutely toxic complain he wasn't a big enough presence in the campaign. Surely by their logic more enthusiasm from Corbyn would have resulted in an even better result for leave.

I agree. But by doing nothing, as he did, he gave Leave a shot in the arm. Any of the Milibands or Blair would have scuppered it........

If you look at the demographic of people who voted leave I think Blair and his ilk would not have done any better. I also don't think Corbyn appearing on television every 5 minutes begging people to remain would have changed your average leave voters mind either. If anything, it probably would have made them more determined.

No doubt Blair would have appeared arm in arm with Tory remainers at any given opportunity. I think that would have potentially wiped out the Labour Party to the same extent it was in Scotland after their referendum.

I think Blair is a cretin who should be behind bars......
