not sure, dorries I expect will resign again, and then a couple more will lament 'the direction of the tory government currently' and jump ship. That or a significant scandal for sunak personally and then the votes of no confidence rain in. and its 12-14 months away tops, as this bunch won't expect their core support to venture out in the middle of icy pitch black winter just to vote for a party in tatters.

Yes I live here, fortunately in a very small town in the middle of France.
The rioting has occurred in several of the big cities. Toulouse, Nantes Lille, Lyon to name a few.
Local people here that I have spoken to think it's a catastrophe, police recruiting the wrong sort of person.

The Met Police are indeed recruiting the wrong kind of officers. 20 years ago, here in the UK, our police forces (now called police services) valued brave men, ex armed forces types, etc. These days, they prefer university 'educated' (indoctrinated, wet-wipe) types.
