Proportionally the Tories were well in favour. Only 2 out of 148 voted against, with 17 abstentions. 25% of Labour MPs voted against (with 69 abstentions)

Absolutely lapped it up would be my take on that.

I loved it when that pious Labour woman gave a cringeworthy statement saying that Politicians need to tell the truth for the continuation of democracy just after the Tony Blair reference and without any self awareness of the denial by Starmer regarding the recruitment of Sue Gray….hypocrisy lives…..

I don't quite understand your line here mate. If Boris and the Tories get pulled for being slippy you chuck out Labour lies and trickery. Fair enough.

Yet I've seen you do the same for Labour in an attempt to score points. You can't have it both ways. You're either accepting they all lie, or you have to condem all equally.

My personal opinion is the Tories are grasping at straws chucking Blair's crimes out. Its not a defence for their own behaviour and f ups. And I think you know that too.

One consistency of mine is the utter disrespect I have of all of todays politicians and the fact I believe every single one of them tells lies….cretins every one of them. I’ve said before I would sack every single one and start again…..

Does it matter when Starmer refuses to say when he made contact to recruit her. Boris may well have done so in the naive view that she was not a closet Labour supporter. Everyone makes mistakes…Boris even believed the committee would do its job without bias…I’d sack him just for that……
