People go on about benefits cheats etc. Honestly couldn’t care less if someone is faking illness for an extra £50 a week when there’s people like this taking millions from the tax payers.
Benefits cheats generally get caught and have a [Poor language removed] life. This lot will still have 4 holidays a year to the south of France.
That’s because these sheeple do whatever the Tory media tell them to do, so it’s the benefits cheats/foreigners/striking workers/poors fault and they don’t get up in arms over these robbing, fraudulent, crooked upper class twit spivs who are plundering the public purse, and protecting their rich chums and businesses.

Just look how long that despicable worm hancock got to stay on that stupid jungle tv show popularity contest!?

I despair about the great British public, I really do - we get the government we deserve.

I've just realised that the NHS crisis is the culmination of the Tories' lifelong goal.
Anyone who can afford it is looking at the private health sector in preference to waiting ages for normal health care. It's a bonanza for the likes of BUPA and Spire etc.
Job done!
And when people in agony requiring surgery and treatment have no other option it is private, where the nurses they (tories) don't like end up because working for the national interest doesnt pay, so do what 'we' (tories) do, and look after number one. You watch how nurses get squeezed in the long term when its a survival of the fittest model...
In fact, just look at dentistry currently...

So long as it is the public in great pain, thats the thatcherite way, the good old days of dictatorship... lovely don't you know...

Wise words!

Must be the latter - better off sticking one of her crappy bras on ya grid to protect from covid, than the ppe she so graciously sold to the nhs!

They should all be in jail.

It must be serious with cast iron proof, never saw the tories throw someone under a bus so quickly. Unless of course they are afraid they can be implicated too. Corrupt, dishonest self serving barstewards the lot of them, when thousands of their people were dying....

This is exactly what's happening. I needed to see an ENT consultant (to then consequently get a head scan) on the NHS. However, the wait would have been 6months to a year. My problem became so chronic I just had to go private. I could claim some money back through a work scheme, but still ended up paying £800 (I also spent a small fortune at the dentist). My issue was diagnosed (nerve issue) and dealt with within two weeks. I'm on an OK wage but far from being wealthy. Had I been a bit less fortunate and gone through the NHS I'd probably still be in pain and worrying about it today. What they've done to the NHS is a crime if you ask me.

It certainly suits the Tories to boost the coffers of the private sector. And it suits them to set one section of society against another e.g. striking health workers - heartily backed by the disgusting Daily Mail of course.
They're not really dealing with the situation at all. We had occasion several weeks ago to attend A&E on a Wednesday night. Five hours later we enjoyed breakfast in the hospital canteen after a third world experience.

Sorry to hear of your issues.

I can’t blame you or anyone for going private to get themselves sorted, it’s those who cannot do that who I feel so sorry for.

It’s an absolute disgrace what they have done to the nhs and every other public sector service that they privatised. How the public can contemplate trusting this shower now or ever again is beyond my comprehension.

I also have no issue with workers in those sectors striking for better terms - I couldn’t give a monkeys about their great pensions or whatever, they need an appropriate living wage and decent terms now, so solidarity to them all.

Anyone buying the media spin and narrative is an idiot. 12 years of Tory austerity, vip crooks plundering the public purse on the back of a global epidemic and then brexshit and the trussterfuck have caused what we are all dealing with now, not the workers or anything else.
