It's not a lack of knowledge because there are no legal routes. That's what the Tory supporters on here fail to get.

Good politics that, and just shows the Tory party is imploding on itself on various fronts now and imagine having Braverman ruck up as your Barrister when she was practicing, good grief what a car crash. She is just another 'middle manager' type who's read it all in books but cannot put it into practice. And then promoted way above their ability. The ineptitude on show whatever flavor of Tory government proves it on a daily basis now, but what a damming indictment of British academia that ineptitude can rise so far.

Nobody is even talking about this.

A few years ago this would have been a massive scandal, today its just Thursday.

They should be in prison. Nobody and I mean nobody should be able to profit during a period of national emergency. They should be paid for their work certainly, but any money left over, I.e. profit, should be handed back to the treasury… this is what bugged me about Sunak when he was chancellor, he was writing off excess profits and blatant robbery by all manner of people…..

He wasn’t Health Minister either, but claims he sorted the vaccines out.

Capt Hindsight, was the phrase he used, when challenged by Starmer on PPE procurement. That gag has aged well.

"I think it is extraordinary he attacks the government for securing PPE in full quantities," he added.

"At the time he bashed the government for not moving fast enough, now, absolutely absurdly, Captain Hindsight is trying to score political points by attacking the government for moving too fast.

"I am proud of securing PPE supplies and any government would have done the same."

I think you miss the point of a PM that says “I want this” , ministers who are then responsible for instructing their civil service departments for doing it, and the competence of the civil service on which it is carried out. Boris is a figurehead, not a manager. He sets strategy, he does not manage, that’s what his ministers are for….

It’s the difference between a CEO and a CFO, a General and his commanders, they all play different roles…..Boris was the public face, no one expected him to be managing the Treasury or Health Service……
