I think the blame should be on Roy Ranson and the board by the looks of it but its not the policy holders fault.

The Treasury and the Regulators had the responsibility for overseeing this. The courts made a judgement that favoured certain policyholders. The Government agencies blew it. The Government had a responsibility to compensate and all we got was excuses. Meanwhile tens of thousands of ordinary people lost a lot of money going into pensions etc. Cooper could have done the right thing but she didn’t and I’m sure it’s to her everlasting regret…it certainly was for policyholders….

I know im biased, but all these Labour people Sir Kier, our Ginger Queen and this lovely lady, they are all just better arent they?

Instead of looking like a ghost from 1816 or having a mop for hair, they just look, well, competent.

Its gonna be a long 2 years, but once this Red dream team gets in, things will improve for sure.

She was a treasury minister. It was her job when it blew up in court, no one else, just hers, and she got it wrong, many suffered…but that’s history for you….
