Of course it’s a bloody car crash and no one has said otherwise….
Well you said you aren't embarrassed by this because you chose Boris over Corbyn.

I don't know how you couldn't be embarrassed at what your vote for Boris has led to for the country.

You can keep pretending that Corbyn would have been worse but after the last six months of the Tories but I really struggle to see how.

For what it’s worth, I think that Corbyn, albeit with nobler intentions, (helping the needy rather than the Bankers) may well have been as catastrophic as Truss in that he too, would have implemented ideologically based policies with no thought of how they might operate outside of the party vacuum.

Not yet, the waters being tested this hour by announcing boris as a possibility, gauging reaction in the commons and on the street. This is the beginning of the hurricane...
I don’t quite understand why there aren’t though - the last process lead to huge damage to UK credibility/finances and yet the plan seems to let it all happen again hoping for a marginally better outcome.

Why no public pressure on the conservatives?

He didn’t need distractions when Russia invaded, what he did he did for the best reasons…..
Yes, remind me again:What did he actually do? I know there were several photo opportunities for him but then...err...
No world leaders took a blind bit of notice of him about anything anyway. They think he is a buffoon. Hence him wandering dolefully around the photo call at the G8 trying to find someone that would talk to him.

The conservatives were voted in with a huge majority, it has two years to go….

Maybe.

One thing we know for certain is that anyone who voted Tory bears responsibility for this disaster.

Talking hypotheticals about Corbyn doesn't excuse that.

3 years ago, with a different leader with a manifesto that has been broken several times including one of the main pledges around fracking.

Not even taking into account the significant challenges during that time such as a global pandemic that may have impacted peoples views.
