Lord Sheikh Founder of Conservative Muslim Forum is now in trouble for attending the same conference as Corbyn, people may remember Lord Sheikh criticism of Boris Johnson, describing some Muslim women as Bank robbers and Letter Boxes. Oddly one of the complainants is Zac Goldsmith the apparent liberal Tory, who ran the much criticized dog whistle campaign in London mayor campaign, looking like he is reinventing himself.

I have no sympathy with him. He joined a party that hates ethnic minorities. WTF did he expect?

Austerity is going to be as divisive as Brexit for them before to long, in that the shires will neither tolerate it any longer nor raise rich peoples' taxes

There are the Tories that subscribe, if you cant afford it dont have it and that goes down to your basic care needs.. How that sits with so called working white van Tory will cut the wheat from the chaff in an election booth.

I believe he thought he was in tune with the liberal (shrinking) wing of the Party.

It's also worth recalling that Osborne crafted austerity so that it hit the (often Labour) Councils first, and hardest.

That Tory voters are now directing their rage toward Northamptonshire rather than Westminster is by design.

It is surreal at times what people will put up with here. I just got an extensive poll in the post asking which services - road maintenance, bus services, snow clearance, street-lighting - I'd be most comfortable doing without.

Its started already mate. I live in the most conservative, with a small and big C, place you could imagine. Tory MP for ever, Tory local authority the same.

Not a month goes by without the (Tory) leader of the local authority calling the Government out on the unrelenting cuts they still have to implement. After, what, 8, 10 years of it, there just comes a point when there isnt any "waste" left to cut. Lob in the May factor, well, they look knackered to me. Or at least, should be.

Will they still vote Tory in the GE though?

My Conservative MP is a female Muslim.

I vote for her. I can't work out whether that makes me a racist or not. Very confusing state of affairs.
