The Chelsea Thread

Chelsea are in big trouble as soon as they run out of financial magic tricks. Paying these players far more than Spurs, making less revenue, and they all know they can just wait out a manager for 3 months and a new patsy will roll up so they can start all over again.

….Glasner the obvious appointment, different level of win % than some names mentioned on here to eventually succeed Moyes. Glasner available at the end of the season too. Iraola bookies favourite, looking at his record I do think he’s high risk.

Surely Glasner.
Given Glasner has fallen out with every set of owners he's worked for, and the nutters who run Chelsea sacked Maresca for implicitly criticising them I would say there's precisely zero chance of him going there.

No chance.

He`s not soft, he knows he`d be sacked before Christmas.

Plus, he`s got nothing to lose at Coventry and everything to gain.
That wouldn’t stop them from making him an offer, considering the crazy appointments they’ve made this season.
But yes, there’s no chance in hell that he’d accept the job.

….his win record is dreadful, be interesting how he does wherever he goes.
I wish you'd stop going on about his flipping win record, he's been managing teams who have never had a good win record. If you put him in charge of Man City I think you'd find he'd have better win record. Moyes, who you love, went to the biggest club in England who'd just won the league and had a crap win record there, that's a more telling stat than Iraola's record at lower half clubs.
